Mike Cate is a Nevada native with over 30 years experience in the construction industry. He is president of Construction Development Services Inc., which he started in 1984. In 2002, Cate and partner started another company called Pavers Plus Inc. He is currently 2nd Vice President of A.G.C. and chairman of the Government Affairs Committee.
Cate serves on the Board of Director of the Associated General Contractors and the Associated Builders and Contractors. He is also a Past President of the A.C.E. High School Board of Directors. He is the Chairman of the City of Reno - Enterprise Fund Committee and serves on the NDOT Grievance Committee.
