  • How long have you worked at TMWA?
    "I have been a TMWA team member for five years."
  • What brought you to TMWA and where did you work before?
    "Before working at TMWA I worked for a local construction company. That company sent me to TMWA to assist for one year, and after that year was up, TMWA hired me as part of their team. I'm a lucky guy!"
  • What do you love most about your job?
    "I think working with the crew is great—there are a lot of fun guys at TMWA." In addition to enjoying the people that he works with, Eleo said he loves that his job allows him to spend time working outside and much prefers it to sitting at a desk all day.
  • What have you learned working at TMWA?
    Being an operator, Eleo said that he spends most of his time running the backhoe, a piece of equipment used for digging, but when he came to TMWA he had the opportunity to learn more about working on computers.
  • What do you do on a typical day on the job?
    Eleo is part of a four-man crew on which he runs the heavy equipment. This means that Eleo assists with fixing water leaks and doing retrofits, removing old water shut-off valves and installing new meter facilities, as well as updating existing facilities.
  • Do you have a favorite piece of equipment that you use at TMWA?
    Eleo's favorite piece of equipment to operate is the backhoe because of its neat features and capabilities including the ability to maneuver the moveable arms of which Eleo said, "I like what I do."
