Water Quality Analyst
Do you know who your co-worker is? He is a baseball umpire, a football official, an athlete, and he can tie a cherry-stem with his tongue!
But that's not his only specialty.
Jim Pezonella does know first hand just how high the quality of our water is here in the Truckee Meadows.
"We have some really dedicated staff here at TMWA that care about our community and the quality of the water that we are providing," Pezonella said.
Originally from Redding, Calif., Pezonella has lived in Reno for 25 years. He obtained his degree in biological science while working as a meter reader for TMWA. He worked in meter reading for 16 years before he moved over to water quality four years ago.

"Eighty-percent of what we have today can be connected to him," said Pezonella.
Someday Pezonella would like to go to Italy but for now, you can catch him at the Glendale Water Treatment plant making sure that our water is safe and clean. What a great guy! Thanks, "Pez"…
