What do you love most about your job? The people. Working in the Finance Department allows me to work with a variety of staff from almost every facet of the organization.
What is unique about your job at TMWA? The diversity. In the Finance Department, there are a lot of routine procedures that must be followed, but in addition to routine functions, there always seems to be something unexpected.
What is the best part of your day? The morning. I’m an early bird. I get here early so that I can tackle what needs to be tackled, with the least amount of interruptions. That way, I’m ready to handle new concerns that arise when the business day begins. I like my niche in the morning where I can concentrate uninterrupted.
What is your best memory working at TMWA? When TMWA was formed (2001) — it was very exciting to be a part of the formation of a new organization and to help TMWA get off the ground. Everyone worked together to ensure we had what was needed to get the company started. It was a great experience.
What is your proudest professional accomplishment while working at TMWA? Realizing how much I have learned over the last seven years. As the company has grown and evolved, there have been a lot of opportunities to develop new skills.
