Once all the required information is given to the coordinators, they route projects thru parallel paths to water rights and engineering. This allows the review processes to occur simultaneously. After all fees have been paid, which may include water rights, the coordinators prepare a contract which is signed by the property owner, and release the work order drawings to operations. The customer must use TMWA approved contractors for all the applicant installed work; contact TMWA 48 hours prior to construction to schedule inspectors; and, have backflow required-testing within 10 days of inspection when applicable. The coordinators oversee this entire process and notify the customer of any issues relating to their project.
Types of projects:
- Inquiries regarding nearest water facilities
- Commercial construction
- Residential construction
- Subdivision design reviews
- NAC-Nevada Administrative Code
- Construction Water
- Backflow retrofits
- Water rights calculations/determinations
