Senior and Multi-Family Customers Encouraged to Apply for Positions on Truckee Meadows Water Authority’s Standing Advisory Committee
(RENO, Nev.) – Members of Truckee Meadows Water Authority’s (TMWA) Standing Advisory Committee (SAC) serve in many capacities including reviewing budgets, rate proposals, reading reports and providing feedback from the customer perspective. SAC members are directed by the Board of Directors for TMWA on these and other important matters. TMWA currently has two vacancies: alternate senior citizen (62 years or older) and alternate multi-family residential.
This volunteer committee meets the first Tuesday of each month from 3 to 5 p.m. Those interested in serving on SAC must be TMWA customers who represent either senior citizens (62 years or older) or multi-family residential.
Applications to serve on the committee can be submitted via letter or e-mail and must be received by Friday, Jan. 27. Applications should include the following:
- Applicant’s name and contact information
- Type of customer (senior citizen or multi-family residential)
- Statement of interest in serving SAC
- Any pertinent experience
