Rose Water Treatment Plant with a public open house on Wednesday\, June 29 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. \n  \nWith the plant’s construction now complete\, the event will give residents an opportunity to tour the facility\, interact with water-resource management experts\, and learn about watershed protection efforts along Galena\, Thomas\, and Whites creeks. \nAll are welcome\, but please note: The ability to walk on stairs and uneven surfaces is necessary if you want to enter the facility or observe the creek intake area. Access will require signing a waiver\, which will be available onsite. \n  \nThe Mt. Rose Water Treatment Plant represents an important step forward in TMWA’s efforts to help protect groundwater on the Mt. Rose Fan. We are looking forward to sharing this new facility with you and answering any questions you may have. \nThe Mt.
