DESCRIPTION:Join as at TMWA’s Glendale Water Treatment Plant and learn how we are able to produce enough high-quality water to satisfy the community’s needs–whether it be 40 million gallons on a cold winter day\, or 140 million in the heat of the summer! The plant tour/workshop is scheduled for Wednesday\, May 6 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. TMWA’s water quality experts will present the rigorous regulations\, testing and treatment procedures your water goes through prior to reaching your tap. This workshop includes a tour of the Glendale Water Treatment Plant and water quality labs where staff will provide insights into water quality testing and explain the treatment and distribution processes\, as well as answer your questions. \nThe workshop will take place at the Glendale Water Treatment Plant at 1205 S. 21st Street in Sparks.
