This meeting will include a brief presentation on the purpose and need for the Advanced Purified Water Facility\, followed by an opportunity to provide comments\, and ask questions about the project. Participants are encouraged to provide comments. Comments must be submitted in writing by December 6\, 2023. Subject matter experts involved with the project will be on hand to answer questions. \nOneWater Nevada is a collaborative effort of regional agencies pursuing a comprehensive approach to extending the resiliency and sustainability of local water resources for future generations. This project is a joint effort of the City of Reno and Truckee Meadows Water Authority. \nA notice of this public meeting will be posted at the following locations: Truckee Meadows Water Authority (1355 Capital Blvd.\, Reno)\, tmwa.com\, reno.gov/engage\, onewaternevada.com and the State of Nevada Public Notice Website\, https://notice.nv.gov/. A permit application is required to use reclaimed water for indirect potable reuse (NAC 445A.27616).All written comments received by December 6 will be provided to and considered by NDEP in formulating a permit for this Project.
