OneWater Nevada, a collaboration of multiple agencies consisting of the University of Nevada, Reno, Truckee Meadows Water Authority, Washoe County, City of Reno, Western Regional Water Commission, Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility and City of Sparks, is proposing a pilot project on advanced wastewater treatment technologies using reclaimed water, to achieve “A+” quality.     The pilot project is taking place adjacent to the Reno-Stead Water Reclamation Facility in Lemmon Valley.

The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Water Pollution Control, is hosting a virtual workshop on August 6th from 10am-12pm  in order for OneWater Nevada to present information to the public on the proposed pilot project and to solicit public comments and questions.   Those interested in attending the virtual meeting can do so through a virtual meeting application or by phone; details on the virtual meeting are provided in this email.  Additional information can be obtained by emailing Brandon Beach at bbeach@ndep.nv.gov
