Robert Charpentier brings more than 30 years’ experience in marketing, communications and public outreach to his role as TMWA’s Chief Communications Officer. He leads efforts to strengthen public understanding of water-resource management across Northern Nevada, translating complex operational, regulatory and policy issues into accessible, community-focused messaging.
During his 13 years with TMWA, Robert has supported major regional initiatives through strategic communications, digital engagement and stakeholder outreach. He plays a key role in public engagement efforts related to OneWater Nevada and the development of advanced purified water, helping inform customers, elected officials and community stakeholders about long-term water sustainability strategies. His work helps ensure transparency, build trust and foster informed dialogue around the stewardship of the region’s water resources.
Prior to joining TMWA, Robert served as Digital Marketing Manager for EMPLOYERS, a national workers’ compensation insurance carrier, where he oversaw web and email marketing during the company’s expansion from seven to 32 states. Earlier in his career, Robert was Senior Creative Writer at Bently Nevada, a global leader in industrial monitoring systems, continuing in that role following the company’s acquisition by GE Power Systems.
