Ryan Dixon was named Director, Distribution Maintenance & Generation in 2024. Prior to that, Dixon served as Facilities Maintenance, Generation & Fleet Manager. Dixon joined the utility in 1999 as an Associate Engineer when it was still owned by Sierra Pacific Power Co. (SPPC). He was part of the team that founded TMWA in 2001 when it was purchased from SPPC by Reno Sparks and Washoe County. In the succeeding years, Dixon has served as a Distribution Maintenance Coordinator, Field and Meter Services Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Construction Coordinator, and Construction Engineer. Dixon has earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. He also holds a PE License in Nevada and a Grade IV certification in both treatment and distribution.
