Mr. Kershaw is part of the TMWA engineering team that processes new water service requests, develops and helps implement the overall water facility master plan, and provides water systems operations support. Mr. Kershaw has over 25 years experience that includes regional water planning, water resource evaluation, water system hydraulic modeling, water and wastewater facilities design, Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) budgeting, prioritization and management, storm water systems, construction management, system operations support, and project team management. Mr. Kershaw’s previous experience includes roles as the Capital Improvement Program Manager for the Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility, and over 15 years of engineering-consulting experience for the local communities with the majority of that time spent specializing in municipal water system planning, design and construction management. Mr. Kershaw holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University, Professional Engineering Licenses in Nevada, California and Colorado, and Nevada Division of Environmental Protection D3 and T2 (OIT) Drinking Water Operator Certifications.
