Mr. Mothershead was named TMWA Maintenance Operations Manager in April, 2022. He has worked in water systems for 20 years, starting at Washoe County Department of Water Resources (WCDWR).  In 2015, when WCDWR merged with TMWA, Mothershead moved to TMWA as a Maintenance Coordinator. His initial focus was ensuring the two water systems would work together without customer impact. Mothershead was promoted to Maintenance Supervisor in June 2015 and oversaw the maintenance of 750+ water facilities and 280+ pressure zones.  In addition, Mr. Mothershead holds the highest level of State water certifications (Grade IV) in both treatment and distribution.
