Sean Feeney currently serves as TMWA’s Control Systems Engineering Manager. With over 25 years experience in Information and Operational Technologies systems, Mr. Feeney’s primary focus is overseeing and modernizing TMWA’s SCADA systems. Mr. Feeney started his career as a college intern at TMWA in 2001—the same year the utility was founded. He was later hired by TMWA as a full-time computer technician and progressed into a systems architect role where he oversaw the planning and deployment of new technologies. In 2015, Mr. Feeney transferred to the Control Systems Engineering Dept., bringing Principal Systems Architecture knowledge and experience to assist in further expanding and updating TMWA’s SCADA systems infrastructure. In 2019, Mr. Feeney was promoted to Control Systems Engineering Manager and tasked with overseeing the path of continual modernization of TMWA’s SCADA systems. Mr. Feeney works closely with Control Systems Dept. staff and other Operations departments to oversee system health and foster the technological development needed to produce and distribute clean drinking water to the community efficiently and reliably. Mr. Feeney Holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Nevada, Reno.
