This Nevada native plant establishes easily on poor, dry soils. Foliage varies from a yellow green color to a greenish gray. This plant may grow 3 ft. tall by 3 ft. wide if planted in native or low water areas (water once every 2 weeks), in full sun and any soil. It produces bright yellow flowers in late August to September that produce pollen that may irritate those with allergies.
