Draft 2025-2045 Water Resource Plan
We Are Seeking Public Feedback on Our Draft 2025-2045 Water Resource Plan
Since our founding in 2001, Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) has updated its twenty-year Water Resource Plan (WRP) every five years. The purpose of this plan is to analyze future conditions and outline strategies to meet the region’s drinking water needs. TMWA's planning process is essential in effectively managing water resources to provide a resilient and reliable supply for our community.
Public Feedback is Critical to Our Planning Process
Updating the WRP is an extensive process. A critical part of this process is engaging the community to gather feedback, address questions about the draft plan, and identify any additional concerns related to local water resources that may not yet be included.
