Artemisia tridentata var. tridentata (Big Sagebrush)
The state flower of Nevada, this shrub grows to 15 ft. tall in the wild, but usually tops out at 4-5 ft. tall in cultivation. Sagebrush needs dry, well-drained soils and once-a-month watering in dry summers only. Gray, aromatic foliage with finely cut leaves, insignificant flowers.
