The Truckee Meadows Water Authority Speakers Bureau is available to inform your organization about one of the most unique and interesting water systems in the country.

Group Presentation

The presentation will include an overview of the Truckee River Water System, the Water Authority’s assets and business operations, rates, conservation and landscape topics, current water supplies and snow pack, plus answer any questions your group may have.

We will send to your meeting either a management team member or a board member or both, depending on availability. Please allow two weeks lead-time to schedule. Please fill out the form below to request a presentation. If your group has special interests and you would like a specific topic addressed, please let us know so we can send a speaker with the appropriate background. A team member will contact you directly to discuss presentation details.

Instructor or moderator must be present.

Private Group Tour Request

Group tours of the Chalk Bluff Water Treatment Plant or the Verdi Hydroelectric Plant are available on request. The tours are open to all TMWA customers. Group sizes must be between 10 and 20 persons and participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

NOTE: Requests for tours and presentations must be made at least two weeks prior to the event.
