Invitation for Sealed Bids for 14785 Pine Knolls Lane
In accordance with Chapter 268 of the Nevada Revised Statutes, Truckee Meadows Water Authority (“TMWA”) has adopted a “Resolution No. 310 Approving the Sale of Surplus Property” to sell certain real property by public auction/sealed bids to the highest bidder for a minimum purchase price of $175,000.00 (plus any closing costs per the purchase agreement). Bidders shall submit one original sealed written bid in a single envelope which must be received by Sonia Folsom, Executive Assistant, at TMWA’s corporate office at 1355 Capital Boulevard, Reno, Nevada 89520, no later than 3:00 pm on January 6, 2023. At a Public Hearing during the January 18, 2023, TMWA Board Meeting, the Board will open written bids and call for oral bids before accepting any written bid. Oral bids must be at least 5% higher than the highest written bid. Oral bidders must also complete the bid form (leave off your bid price), and submit it to Sonia Folsom, Executive Assistant at TMWA’s corporate office at 1355 Capital Boulevard, Reno, Nevada 89520 or firstname.lastname@example.org, no later than 3:00 pm on January 6, 2023. The property known as Assessor Parcel Number 016-490-50 is located at 14785 Pine Knolls Lane and is 1.786 acres of vacant land.
The successful bidder will be required to submit a non-refundable $10,000.00 Deposit in the form of a Cashier’s check upon Board acceptance of the bid.
