Maintenance: Troubleshooting Plant and Turf Problems

Disease is usually caused by overuse of fertilizers, fungicides and herbicides that disturb the balance of the soil system and reduce activity and populations of beneficial organisms can cause disease. Occasionally, overwatering may give the appearance of disease and produce mushrooms. Pests can also damage turf, causing discoloration and other issues.
